Aritra can be called a painter, sculptor, pianist and photographer. He is a passionate listener of Hindustani Classical music alongside being a published author of two Bengali fictions : 'Durga Pujoy Ashur Nidhon' (2017) and 'Lukochuri' (2018). He believes Satyajit Ray to be his teacher or ‘guru’ in all fields, and his motto in life is “Art for art’s sake”.
